I use specifc points on the feet (optional hands and ears) that correspond to specific organs and systems within the body. By providing pressure on these points, blockages or stagnation is released creating relaxation, balance and healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
With roots in traditional Chinese and Egyptian healing practices that date back thousands of years, reflexology aims to create balance and moderation within the body’s systems and organs. The benefits of reflexology include: relieving anxiety, stress and tension; promoting a deep sense of relaxation; harmonising the systems and organs of the body; encouraging Ki (energy) to flow freely; promoting better sleep; diminishing fluid retention in the ankles and feet; improving circulation of vascular and lymphatic systems; and aiding the immune and respiratory functions.
