12/7/2017 0 Comments About ReikiReiki is a hands-on healing modality that uses universal life force energy to heal in a safe and non-intrusive way. The healing energy of Reiki channels to wherever it is needed in your body. It shifts physical and emotional blockages that may have been causing illnesses or emotional upset.
How Does Reiki Work? We are alive because of the Ki (life force) flowing through us. This life force nourishes and supports our body and its vital functions. When the flow of life force is blocked, it limits the bodies natural ability to heal. Reiki heals by unblocking the energy channels and charging the system with Ki energy. It clears and heals the energy pathways allowing the life force to flow in a healthy, natural and balanced way supporting the body’s innate ability to heal itself. When we are healthy our energy body is in a state of energetic balance. When there is an imbalance we are more susceptible to illness and disease. Healing always happens from the heart, which creates a loving and accepting space that we share with each other. To live these qualities and 'be' them is the ultimate significance of Reiki.

12/7/2017 0 Comments About ReflexologyReflexology is a complementary therapy that enables the body to balance and heal itself. I use specifc points on the feet (optional hands and ears) that correspond to specific organs and systems within the body. By providing pressure on these points, blockages or stagnation is released creating relaxation, balance and healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
With roots in traditional Chinese and Egyptian healing practices that date back thousands of years, reflexology aims to create balance and moderation within the body’s systems and organs. The benefits of reflexology include: relieving anxiety, stress and tension; promoting a deep sense of relaxation; harmonising the systems and organs of the body; encouraging Ki (energy) to flow freely; promoting better sleep; diminishing fluid retention in the ankles and feet; improving circulation of vascular and lymphatic systems; and aiding the immune and respiratory functions. |
